Do I have to pay for parking while attending 4th on Broadway events?
July 1st-3rd Parking available on the streets of downtown.
- PlainsCapital Bank free parking will be offered off Canyon Lakes Drive, in between Broadway and 19th Streets, right across from Mackenzie Park.
- Free parking available on the streets of downtown for the parade
- Paid parking ($5 per car) will be located at the South Plains Fairgrounds. A free shuttle service will be offered.

What is the parade route for the 2018 4th on Broadway Parade?
Parade will again begin at Avenue M. and Broadway Ave., travel east to Canyon Lake Drive, through Mackenzie Park, and end at Joyland.

What time does the 4th on Broadway Parade start?
The parade officially begins at 9:00 AM, but we encourage the community to arrive early to park and secure a good viewing spot, within the roped off boundaries set for your safety.

Where is the 4th on Broadway Festival held?
- Street Dances on July 1st-3rd are located in front of the Lubbock County Courthouse Square, off Texas in between Main and Broadway.
- Events on the 4th of July are held at Mackenzie Park. For maps of all events, see, 4th on Broadway Event Maps.

What kinds of food and beverages can be purchased at 4th on Broadway?
We will have over 25 food and craft vendor selling all sorts of yummy food drinks and more!
Will cash and cards be accepted at the 4th on Broadway Festival?
Some vendors may accept cards, however some may not, so bringing cash is highly encouraged. There will not be ATMs in Mackenzie Park.
What items can I bring to the 4th on Broadway Festival?
We encourage the community to bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, pop up tents, and any other items that will keep festival goers comfortable throughout the day.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs that are up to date on all of their shots and leashed are welcomed to our events held on the 4th of July in Mackenzie Park.
Will there be on-site medical service?
Emergency medical staff will be available on site. If you need any assistance, go to the EMS location on the map, look for a police officer, or 4th on Broadway Festival staff member.

If I lose something, where can I find it?
Items lost on the day of the event will be held at the Volunteer Center, located at the Moonlight Musicals Amphitheater. Items lost and found after the event can be recovered by emailing email@example.com.
Will there be security at the event?
We make every effort to create a safe and secure environment on the festival grounds. On-site security will be provided by the Lubbock Police Department.
Evening Concert & Fireworks
What time does the Evening Concert & Fireworks show start?
The evening concert begins at 7:30 p m, but we encourage the community to arrive early to get a good viewing spot of the stage. The fireworks begin at dusk, approximately 10:00 pm.
What route do the shuttles take after the Evening Concert & Fireworks?
The shuttles will stop during the Fireworks show. After the Fireworks show, shuttles will line up along Broadway to take festival goers to the parking lots. More shuttle information can be found here, Evening Concert shuttle map.
What items can I bring to the 4th of July Evening Concert & Fireworks?
We encourage the community to bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, and any other items that will keep festival goers comfortable throughout the show.
Where can I purchase tickets to the 4th on Broadway Street Dances?
Will cash or cards be accepted at the 4th on Broadway Street Dances?
Both cash and card may be used for entry to the event. There will be a cash-only bar, and food vendors will vary. ATMs will be provided throughout the event, but guests are encouraged to bring cash.
Can I bring alcohol or outside food & drink to the 4th on Broadway Street Dances?
No outside alcohol, drinks, food and coolers are not allowed at the 4th on Broadway Street Dances.
What items can I bring to the 4th on Broadway Street Dances?
We encourage the community to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and any other items that will keep festival goers comfortable throughout the day. No pets or coolers, please.
Can I leave and come back later?
No, Re-entry is not allowed.
